EPS Environmental complete MEICA Contract for NIW Garstings Hill Pumping Station
Construction of a new pumping station is complete at the existing Garstings Hill Service Reservoir. The pumping station is required to supply water directly into distribution and service the Loan Command Service Reservoir.
This project was carried out for NIW with Hyder Consulting acting for the client. CQJV was responsible for the complete civil construction works.
The MEICA Scope of Work included:
Supply, installation testing and commissioning of:
- 2 no 110Kw High flow horizontally mounted axial pumps
- 4 No 37Kw Low flow skid mounted vertical multistage pumps
- Surge vessel and associated compressors
- Supply and installation of pumping station pipework, valves,fixtures and fittings
- All associated handrailing, flooring and pipe supports throughout the works
- New Motor Control Centre
- New PLC/HMI Hardware and Software Control System
