EPS Environmental Ltd working together with Farrans EPSE JV, have been awarded t…This scheme in rural Oban consisted of removal and replacement of the existing GAC WTW with new turnkey Nanofiltration Membrane treatment plant. The MEICA scope of works included:
- Existing GAC filters decommissioned and converted to form additional final water storage tank.
- New package filter membrane plant (outflow 90m3/day) capable of the physical removal of natural organic matter without the use of coagulants or other chemicals comprising:
- Intake screening
- Lift pumps at the plant outlet.
- Relocation/recommissioing of an existing cryptosporidium test rig (from existing treatment building)
- Upgrade of existing power supply, laying of new supply cable
- De-commissioning & removal of existing redundant services
