Project Overview

As part of a infrastructure upgrade for Sligo City EPS ENV undertook the contract to provide MCC’s & ICA for a new wastewater treatment plant.  Our scope of supply for MCC’s, PLC and SCADA included:

MCC1 Transfer Pumping Plant Panel

• Form 4 construction in a back to back arrangement
• 2000 Amp mains Incomer
• Bus coupler with generator changeover.
• 2000 Amp busbar fault rating 50KA 1sec
• 4 No Schneider ATV 220kW VSD’s on a profibus network
• 4 No Schneider ATV 132kW VSD’s on a profibus network
• 12 No Schneider model U DOL and S/S motor starters on a profibus network.

MCC2 Inlet Works Plant Panel

• Form 4 construction front access
• 1600 Amp mains Generator ACB’s with auto generator changeover
• 1600 Amp busbar fault rating 50KA 1sec
• 145 KVAR automatic power factor correction
• 1250 Amp ACB plant feeder
• 24 No Schneider model U DOL and S/S motor starters on a profibus network.
