EPS Environmental Ltd working together with Farrans EPSE JV, have been awarded t…As part of an infrastructure upgrade for Waterford City EPS ENV undertook the contract to provide MCC’s & ICA for a new wastewater treatment plant. Our scope of supply for MCC’s, PLC and SCADA included:
MCC1 Main Process Plant Panel
- Form 4 construction in a back to back arrangement
- 1600 Amp mains generator ACB’s with synchronization.
- 1600 Amp busbar fault rating 50KA 1sec
- 175 KVAR automatic power factor correction
- 5 No 110kW soft starters
- 24 No VSD’s, up to 37kW, on duty standby profibus network.
- 75 No Schneider model U DOL and S/S motor starters on a profibus network.

- Mitsubishi A1S PLC
MCC2 Inlet Works Plant Control Panel
- Form 4 construction, front access
- 250 Amp incomer isolator
- 400 Amp busbar 35KA 1 sec
- 31 No Schneider model U DOL and S/S motor starters on a profibus network.

MCC3 Belview Pump Panel
- Form 4 construction, front access.
- 2 No Schneider ATV61 22kW VSD’s on a profibus network.
